Husband and Wife team Botha Louw and Cherylin Botha-Louw are professional artists and co-owners of Botha’s art studio, which has been going for 11 years. They are stationed in Hopefield, Western Cape, South Africa. They have both been published in “The Collector’s guide to Art and Artists in South Africa.” About the activity: An art class where you can be creative in a relaxed atmosphere having a glass of wine and a light meal. Group bookings of 6 people only at a time. All art materials are included. Ideal for stork parties/ birthdays/to learn a new skill or just to have fun with your friends. Medium used: Acrylics. All art materials supplied, including a light lunch and you take your art masterpiece and wine glass home. The program: Welcome and introductions and receive name tags. Take a seat where the easel/pre-drawn canvas/ paint tray/ brushes/apron/reference and paints are set out. A glass of wine is supplied for all students. Botha explains and demonstrates the painting process step by step, assisting students. During the process a second glass of wine is supplied. 13:00 end of painting session and light lunch is served. After lunch you take your wine glass and masterpiece home.
