SOMERSET VIEW GUESTHOUSE
Hidden beneath a humble exterior facade, sits one of the premier jewels of the Helderberg area; just 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, and with easy access to beaches, restaurants, world-class golf, shopping, nature reserves and the Winelands.

We offer five uniquely finished guestrooms, all equipped with air conditioning and their own alarm systems. These are held to extremely high standards of cleanliness and maintained on a daily basis for one reason only: your complete satisfaction and full enjoyment.

To this end, we have dedicated one very special guest room – our 1 For All room – to the absolute comfort of our physically challenged guests. Asphalt paths surround the house and cover a ramp that leads from the upper level of the facility down to the pool area. The entire premises is accessible by wheelchair, to allow Somerset View Guest House to be enjoyed by all, regardless of their physical limitations.

If healthy, home-style meals are your kind of treat, then you’ll be pleased to know there’s always something delicious on the menu at Somerset View Guest House. Though breakfast is our most popular meal of the day, we also offer lunch and supper options that never disappoint. From South African-style braai (BBQ) feasts and bobotie to pasta dishes, stews, salads of all kinds as well as a variety of meat-and-vegetables combinations, you’re always in for the best with us.

RESPITE ROOM
If you’ve ever been caught with hours between your flight out and your check-out time, or arrived too early to have access to the room you’ve booked, you’ll appreciate this special room. Thoughtfully built with guest comfort in mind, the Respite Room offers guests a place to shower, change, access a toilet and temporarily store their luggage until they can either get into their freshly-cleaned room, or carry on with their journey, even if their room is no longer available.
