La Baleíne Beach House Collection offers superb self-catering accommodation in an amazing setting in the authentic fishing village of Paternoster on South Africa’s West Coast.

Our well-appointed and discerning beach houses and studios offer the comforts of home and more, have a light and airy atmosphere and feature magnificent sea views and spectacular vistas. They have beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, the finest linen and quality towels and fully-equipped kitchens.

On the outside private access, individual patios with braai or barbeque facilities, undercover parking and direct entry to private walkways down to the beach, all add to a feeling of privacy without detracting from the sense of space of this charming and rustic location.

Each beach house has satellite DSTV (Hotel DSTV package, including sports channels, kykNET, MNET, Movie Channel, BBC, Disney Channel and National Geographic) and Wi-Fi Internet access. All La Baleíne beach houses and studios are 4 Star accredited by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

SEAFRONT BEACH HOUSE 3
Leerdam is a beautifully decorated and well-appointed beach house with a second guest bedroom. The open plan living and dining area with guest bathroom is decorated in a rustic contemporary style with local character. Large doors open onto the patio with magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Paternoster Bay.

The master bedroom has a super king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and a separate toilet. The guest bedroom offers two single beds (which can be converted into a king size bed at your request) and has a small separate bathroom with a shower booth with flush glass from floor to ceiling and a separate toilet.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a five-burner Eurogas stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and dishwasher. The beach house has a flat screen television set with satellite DSTV (Hotel DSTV package, including sports channels, kykNET, MNET, Movie Channel, BBC, Disney Channel and National Geographic), a DVD player, Wi-Fi internet access and an electronic safe large enough to store a laptop.

The relaxing atmosphere of the spacious patio is inviting to light the fire for the traditional braai or barbeque and to indulge in outdoor living from where you can enjoy breath-taking vistas of and sunsets over the bay. Please note that different rates apply depending on the season of the year as well as during long weekends and school holidays.
