PLATBAKKIES FARM RETREAT
Platbakkies Farm Retreat is situated on a working farm off the R355 between Kliprand and Springbok.

The retreat offers guests accommodation in either a house, a cottage, or camping options. The house has 3 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are respectively furnished with a queen-size bed, a double bed, and 2 single beds. The cottage is equipped for 2 guests.

Both units have a kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or dining table. Guests are also welcome to make use of the available board games.

The Wild camping allows guests to pick their favourite spot on the farm and set up camp surrounded by grazing wildlife. The Farmyard camping ground is located closer to the on-site activity site and the farmyard comes with access to communal ablution facilities that include a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Electrical points are also available. The area boasts lovely views of the Boesmanland plains and the Namaqualand koppies.

Braai facilities, as well as safe parking, are available for use. The accommodation is on a self-catering basis, and meals are available on request at an additional cost.

The farm is home to a wide variety of animals and offers various activities such as partaking in farming activities, walking, biking, game drives, bird watching or day trips in the area.
