Georgina’s Loft faces the internal atrium and as such its windows don’t get direct sunlight, but the immense 9-floor atrium fills with light and filters into the apartment.
Mutual Heights was one of the first office building conversions to residential in Cape Town’s CBD. It’s considered to be the finest art deco buildings in the Cape Town and at the time of opening in 1940, was the tallest building in Africa (apart from the Pyramids), and had the fastest lifts. The shining brass and art deco elements are still there, and they are still fast!
